Pool Coping
The coping is the final surface layer that caps off the pool shell and begins your patio or decking space. While many homes rely on simple materials, like poured concrete and roll-on paint, many people expect more from their areas.
ASE Pools can cap your pool and create your ideal deck with a variety of professional materials. Whichever options work best for you, we install them all, including:
- Poured in Place Concrete
- Pre-Cast Concrete
- Tile
- Natural Stone
- Pavers
- Faux Materials
- And more pool coping options
Take a look at some of the most sought-after styles of Pool Coping requested by our clients, and what do they mean:
Vanishing Edge Pool Coping
Vanishing Edge allows the coping to be one unit with the pool deck, incorporating the coping right over the edge of the pool so that there is no break in the finish on the horizontal plane. This method can help to make a small area around the pool look much bigger, and give the deck cleaner lines. (Take a look at the image above, or our image gallery below for a good example on Vanishing Edge Pool Coping).
Natural Stone Pool Coping
Natural stone or brick coping offers the warmth, texture and sturdiness of stone. Materials ranging from quarried granite, to limestone to natural fieldstone offer beautiful and long lasting coping solutions. In working with natural stone, it is very important to specify consistent coping thickness for this most visible pool element.
Precast Concrete Pool Coping
Precast concrete coping offers the choice of a wide range of textures, patterns and colors, often at a significantly lower cost than poured concrete or natural stone. From an installation standpoint, it is typically simpler to install, and it is also usually easier to provide uniformity in thickness and color than when working with natural stone.
